That’s a a very clever device. Humans can be the same. If the toenails are very thickened and damaged, the quick can grow in little tongues higher than the rest of it.

Вообще-то когти не прозрачные. Верхний роговой слой очень плотный. На белых когтях сработает, а на черных нет.
