If we want a different culture, we have to raise our boys to respect women. After the men’s USA hockey team won gold (and the women’s team having earned the same accomplishment a few days prior), a video went viral of Donald Trump congratulating them by phone in their locker room. During the call, he joked they’d “have to bring the women’s team” to the State of the Union too, adding that if he didn’t, he’d “probably be impeached.” When asked about a potential White House visit, Jack Hughes, an Olympic men’s hockey forward, said, “Everything is so political. We’re athletes. We’re proud to represent the U.S. When you get the chance to go to the White House and meet the President, we’re proud to be Americans… No matter what your views are, we’re super excited.” 📸: Getty #Olympics
