Just a thought, hear me out : why not offer them a different service instead of not responding? Some clients are not educated well enough and a lot only know what they’ve been taught. Not saying you have to service everyone but’s some client’s genuinely want help and willing to do what you suggest.

it could just be a misunderstanding. wouldn't reaching out be the best "research"? I do my own hair but if I was going to a salon to get a silk press I would still prefer to go to someone who understands my hair type

Before I loc’d my hair, it was such a struggle to find a “natural” hair salon who specializes in natural hair. Everyone who stated they were only showed silk presses. Everyone doesn’t want to press their hair.

I’ve been following the salon since it opened I’d love to come patronize. The only push back I have is since there is no website, I’d wonder if certain styles are not on social media because you don’t do them, or because no one requested it.. for example flexi rods or rod sets, but I’d probably feel uncomfortable asking
