@positivityasparents: Drop a 💙 if you’re raising a little boy. Parenthood changes everything. They tell us kids grow fast, but you don't really understand it until you watch your little boy outgrow your arms and step into his own adventures. From first steps to first dreams, from holding your hand to running ahead with confidence - raising a son is both beautiful and bittersweet. Parenting is not just about the milestones, but the everyday moments: the laughter echoing through the house The messes, the chaos, the little things we'll one day miss. Because no matter how old he gets, a son will always be his parent's little boy. So lean into it. Cherish it. Love it deeply. These are the moments that shape both their childhood and our parenthood. What's the best part of raising a boy? • #inspiration #parenting #parentinglife

Down Under :
My son changed when turned 16. Almost a different person. Out went the child who would seek cuddles and reassurance to someone who had his own plans and ideas. It was a struggle at times as sometimes those ideas would seem unrealistic or too risky, adventurous even. Now he’s off to uni to study financial management and has big ideas of his future career. But he shows fear, nervousness sometimes, our course he doesn’t want to fail. It’s all good, he’ll make his own path, but as a parent I do and will always miss the young little boy who was carefree, smiling and just there.
