Recent? As a cardiologist, my father rejected stress tests 30+ years ago. He also agreed with you as to using meds and typically staying away from ‘cutters’ (surgeons).

Going for a stress echo tomorrow. Nervous wreck. CA score was 400. LDL- 69. Lpa- less than 10. And I’m asymptomatic!!

I had pressure in chest walking so dr put me on metoloprol and baby aspirin plus told me to wear nitroglycerin patch daily and stay on pantaloc to rule out reflux. . She said stay on all this till angiogram rules out no blockage or angina. . Think she was concerned I might have HA before I had angiogram. We don’t have cardiologists here we need to travel to another province to see specialists. Had stress test thought did well then was asked are u feeling pain um maybe but I think more tired as walking fast on incline. So took me off stress test gave me nitro. Ordered angiogram. I had no blockages but mild plaque. 😳🤔

I do a stress test ones a month, run from 236th st in Riverdale to Herald square. I had a triple CABG one and a half years ago, BIMA and GEA. Can't go wrong with this type of repair!
