Really Punch needs to stay there despite getting bullied so that 1. He isn’t isolated as socialization is highly important to monkeys and 2. Nothing else can really be done with him. At least monkeys don’t take the bullying quite as harsh as we do…I think 😭

Call me crazy, but I think one of the bigger reasons the rest of the group was so rude to him, was bc of the treatment he was getting from the keepers. Macaques are rlly smart, nd very grabby so it would make sense if they saw punch being handled by keepers more nd playing with a plush , they got a little jealous nd weren’t very nice. (Ik they attacked him before the stuffed animal but that prob js feuled it)
