I do believe it is inspired, but I don't believe this proves it.

Ben :
You can’t make people believe the bible, but we keep finding ways to show it’s truth. I believe it 100% . There are many things that people believe that are based in science but can’t be proven either.

Well technically written by man, but divinely inspired by God.

confirmation bias. respectfully, you're looking at it through a modern lense. Just because they didn't have scientific equipment doesnt mean trial and error didn't exist. For example, if the majority of time people cook pork, they get sick, you tell them not to eat pork. If you see people living in feces and they all keep dying, you tell them to keep themselves clean. Conversely, if you see a society of people that have a habit of washing the dirt and grease off of themselves regularly(which IS something visible and touchable) and notice they have fewer sicknesses and deaths, you can assume that washing up is doing something to prevent that, even if you dont necessarily understand exactly why. So to answer your question, people can see that interacting with a carcass makes people sick. People can see that individuals experiencing certain visual differences typically end up developing whatever prevalent disease. Your thought process here is the same thought process that leads to people believing aliens had to have built the pyramids, because there's simply *no way* the people of the past could've been smart enough to do it, which is just false. Sincerely, a raised Christian for 25 years 💖

How did people learn not to put their hand into fire? People at the time did not know about everything we know today. But they saw people dying when eating the wrong ‘food’ that they became sick when they were dirty and did not clean themselves, they saw people dying who were in the hot sun to long, they saw people dying who did not eat or drink.
