Definitely of Mary had been allowed to get married she may well have give Henry a Male grandson while he was still alive! (Not at 9 yo obviously in the future) but she was always kept single while Henry lived

It's such a pity that Henry didn't go all in on Mary as heir, so much trouble could have been avoided and I think she'd have been accepted no problem. In that case she'd all also have married a King consort earlier and could have given Henry a male grandchild securing the dynasty, who knows. It's just so sad how Henry turned on her and ruined her later childhood/teens. It definitely gave her so much stress, sadness and added health issues
