It’s just kind of patronizing at this point. It was sweet at first but it has become shorthand for ‘you’re chubby but I still find you attractive.’ It really just seems like a way to categorize someone as midsize/chubby but in a “polite” way. Like how people always tell fat women that they “look like they give the best hugs”. Sometimes specific compliments get overused by people for certain reasons, and it makes the whole thing feel disingenuous. Just call them pretty or beautiful , why call attention to their specific body type?

I work with Aphrodite, so no, but it would actually piss me off that they’re saying that because one of most important rules when it comes to Aphrodite is that you do not compare her to other people you do not compare other people to her, it’s incredibly rude. like if they knew anything about Aphrodite, they wouldn’t be saying that shit.

From a mythology nut—Aphrodite appears in whatever form is most attractive to the individual gazing upon her. From that perspective, the comment "Aphrodite build", at least to me, would mean "I find you to be there most attractive woman to ever walk the planet" but knowing that most do not have the same passion for mythology as myself—likely based on the statues of Aphrodite
