okg pls take it out. this happened to me. i’ve had SO many piercings from ears to nose to tongue and my belly button was the only one that was such a problem. I left it in thinking it would work itself out. now i have no piercing and a HUGE scar 😭

Mine was like this for over a year and I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong. Every thing I used made it worse even salt water. Only thing that made it heal was when I cleaned it with dial gold antibacterial soap and left it alone. Now it’s healed. I don’t recommend going to the beach though 😬

That is infected! Do not take it out go back to the piercer who did it and let them look at it , you may need antibiotics. If you take it out without consulting someone you run the risk of trapping the infection I …. And please do not go in the ocean like this you could run the risk of getting flesh eating bacteria with an open and infected wound.

When my nose piercing did this I took it out squeezed the stuff out cleaned the piercing cleaned the hole make sure you get EVERYWHERE then put it back it and it was normal in the morning

Im so sorry but if you don’t address that you could end up like me. Mine half rejected then headed there so i can only wear little craft charms in it and i tried leaving it out for YEARS and it never closed up to redo bc i was stubborn ♡ just be careful i guess

It could be the jewelry, especially since that looks gold and it’s not but whatever happened cause it looked like it healed and then maybe you change the jewelry and it didn’t like it

You need to change the jewelry. Get the ugly stainless steel hoop and antibacterial soap. Keep it clean and dry. Keep your hands off except to turn it.

Clean with water and dial antibacterial soap the gold kind. Mine looked like this for months and healed after that after a week. This was back in 2013 tho. But if you start to feel bad go to the dr. Infection could spread

do not go swimming u are risking more infection and it’s actually very serious ,, clean it everyday and stop touching it and playing with it taking it out can also trap infection ,, contact your piercer and ask for the next steps aswell

When I first got one at 16 mine did this but I never took it out I used sea salt and water until it healed you can also use witch hazel as well. I also made sure I kept moving it so it didn’t get stuck and crust up. I had my piercing for 10 years until I got pregnant with my daughter

Literally let it rinse off with warm - hot water for like 5 minutes, then soak it with a paper towel soaked in epsom salt and water every day!
