It's just a paycheck. We don't judge Canadian hockey players for being on American teams. It's just a paycheck for them. They can actively stop the habs from winning the Stanley Cup but no one is going to say that is in bad taste. They're paid to entertain. They don't care if they get a ring playing for another country.

Tbh I don’t think she made that bad of a decision, if Canada didn’t reach out to have me run an ad I would take the cheque. The only way this would be wrong is if she got offers from both countries.

my only issue is we don't have many popstars that are proud to be Canadian or even stay in Canada. the only modern artists who actively promote Canada is unfortunately Drake...USA is seen as this like dream country where u HAVE to live there to be successful and thus becoming American and forgetting about where u came from.
