Same I may not have a lot saved, but I have enough to carry me from 60 to 62 until I start getting Social Security. My husband is also retiring when I turn 60 because he will be turning 62 to me. It's just worth it even if we have to cut back on everything which we already have so it's going to make it so much easier.

Amen to that!! The very month I turned 61 i retired. At the end of this month will be nine years retired. I'm now seventy and still feel good!

if you dont have a pension I just had my 401 K my job move to North Carolina iam from jersey didn't go so I took my ssa iam 62 I was on my job 28 years before they move social security if I had a pension I would be living a little better I need to go back to work what iam getting from social security I use to get in a week iam looking for work Now it a shame everyone situation is different I have a house 10 more years to pay off got to get more money

I'm 60, 33 years with job. Have to have 35 years and be 62 to get full, unreduced pension. Have a 401K, less than $500K, worried about insurance to Medicare cost, single, no dependents. Am I good?
