@thefliphut: Paint stripping doesn’t have to be a nightmare if you follow the right process. 🛠️✨ It’s the most satisfying (and messy) part of the flip, but it’s how you get those high-end wood results. Here’s the play-by-step for the perfect strip: 1️⃣ Apply LIBERALLY. This is not the time to be stingy. Slather on a premium stripper and don’t be afraid to get it on thick. 🧴 2️⃣ Keep it hydrated. Let it sit for at least 10 minutes. If you see any dry spots, add more. I constantly brush the excess back across the surface to keep it "active." 3️⃣ Safety first. WEAR A VENTILATOR. 😷 This stuff is nasty to inhale, so don’t skip the mask and gloves. 4️⃣ The Scrape. Use a putty knife to peel it back. If it’s an old piece with 5 layers of paint, you might need a second round. 5️⃣ The Final Clean. Use steel wool dipped in acetone to scrub away any leftover sticky residue. This leaves the wood fresh and ready for sand.
