I know some love co sleeping but honestly he's not getting rest. yall are not getting rest. he really needs to sleep in his own bed. talk to a sleep specialist to get some pointers

My son was a horrible sleeper, he would wake up so much! Then I started doing a night smoothie before bed thinking maybe he’s waking up hungry and after adding that now he sleeps through the night on his own, in his own room and bed

I know everybody is giving advice but I recently got a new lease on life cause I can actually SLEEP. I think our boys are around the same age and looking back I don’t think I was functioning at my fullest capacity cause I was so tired. Basically, with help from my MIL, he sleeps on his own through the night with a few wake ups here and there. We also feed him oatmeal like every night. It was tough in the beginning but we both (the baby and I) are more rested humans. Try Gentle sleep training, it’s gonna take some time but maam I swear you’ll wonder why you didn’t try it sooner 🥹. And take ya behind to the play groups 😂 tire that boy out.

Girllllll, my son was the same way. I started using chatgpt to determine his true wake windows and the exact time to put him down to build that sleep pressure so he reaches that deep sleep. Also, they always have light sleep between 1-4.

something that really helped my godson was stopping cosleeping but in the same room and thensleep training (not cry it out, the ferber method) in his own room, you will be surprised by how much adults moving and making various noises really disrupts their sleep. It wasn’t plain sailing but 4 months later he sleeps like a champ outside of being unwell or having regressions.

And that’s exactly why Co sleeping wasn’t for me. My daughter and I were both waking up the next day cranky 🥴 I put her right in her crib in her room. She sleeps so wild when she’s in the bed with us and wakes up every 3-4 hours but in her bed she doesn’t move as much and she sleep 13 hours. She gets better rest in her own bed.

I’ve been watching your videos for so long, and I have a son around your son’s age. I really appreciate how real and honest you are. So many people only show the “perfect” side. no co-sleeping, always out constantly socializing and sometimes it makes me question if I’m doing things right for my child.
Thank you for showing this side too. It truly makes me feel like it’s normal and okay at this age. 💛

I absolutely love that he is called Arlo just like my littlest grandson who is 4 in June ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️I raised my Arlo for three years and now I haven’t seen him for four months cause his dad is an ass. Maybe one day. Love what you do.

Unsolicited advice: putting a show on while he eats disrupts his brains ability to effectively recognise when he’s had enough and can definitely lead to overeating and unhealthy eating habits. I’ve also commented this before, but you should look into some sleep red flags at his age with how often he wakes

As a mean mom of twenty something sons, I can promise you that if you walk the gauntlet and do 3 hard nights it will change your lives. He’ll be rested, you’ll be rested.

Desperate times I let my son watch tv but usually when we go out to eat I use some sensory toys and it’s helped us out. But my son is also a fat ass so he’s usually asking for food 😂 you’re doing great! 💙

he doesn’t know how to self soothe. he’s using you to put him to sleep and once he wakes up and realizes you’re not there anymore to put him back to sleep, he fully wakes up and won’t go back. same thing for the night time. sleep training and allowing him to sleep in his own bed will do wonders for you both! i promise!!
