sorry but that Era was awful😭 it was horrible to find the next episodes of what you watched, no major community, poor anime tropes, and poor pacing were all issues during that Era. Sure there's alot of weird people now, but the quality and quantity of what we have today would've never existed without Anime going mainstream

I remember reading about anime on the internet. Unless it was on television, you either had to purchase a 10 dollar cassette tape or a 40 dollar DVD. How I discovered Anime outside of the general mainstream anime was checking out the cassette tapes from the library.
