I did this and the grease gun got stuck on the nub fittings and they pulled off when I pulled the nozzle off.

I’ve only ever worked on my snow blower 1 time since I got it. Yet I find myself watching all your videos. Very informational in case I ever decide to do some maintenance instead of being lazy 😂

I greased the auger shaft of my ariens 24 deluxe, but I noticed the shaft started to shift away from the gearbox when I pumped. I had to squeeze the auger back towards the gear box and excess grease oozed out. Is that normal?

Why are you greasing it if the pin stays in and auger is not spinning around that shaft

I have an old school Snapper 1997 10/30 machine with the tent!! Love this machine bought it second hand for $400 in like 2003. All the clear plastic was still on it and not a single scratch of paint on the augers or shoot worm.

I had a 1968 Ariens that I bought off a guy leaving for Florida in 1992. I used it till I moved to Florida in 2021, and gave to my brother in law. It was a tank! It weighed 240 lbs. It would shoot the snow 20’ away, got to bear ground due to its weight. Change a few shear pins, a few oil changes over the years, had to tighten the belt yearly, but that was about it. WD 40 it end of season.
