I'm mexican and never heard of this. We have a Lechuza which is a witch that can turn into an Owl. But never heard of a ball of light.

If you are Interested in this topic, I suggest you look up Leonardo Samaniego who had an encounter with a real witch while in his squad car. It made national news in Mexico with an interview with the officer. I was a kid when I watched it with my parents and I had nightmares about it, there is also a channel on YouTube with a guy who interviews a witch in a town full of witches and she admits to being able to fly at night or I guess whenever she wants to. Crazy stuff.

This is true my mom always told us stories when she lived there and she said there was a night she stayed up and heard this bird flying around she said the way it was flapping his wing didn’t sound like a regular bird she went outside to look what it was and she seen it that it landed on a fence post and that bird talked to her and told her that he wasn’t there for her or the family he was there for the neighbor my mom said she got really scared and ran inside the house she didn’t bother looking outside.

I'm not Mexican but I have heard about both of them, and have heard stories from older family members. if the older people tell you things like don't go out of the house at different times of the night. DEFINITELY LISTEN AND FOLLOW THEIR ADVICE!!!

I'm mexican and my family and my husband's family is from Mexico. My mother in law has always told us to keep the windows closed at night. because witches that look like owls can come through your windows and take you. she would come in the room at night and close the windows if they weren't already closed because she was so serious about this!
