This works incredibly well as a bug repellant, mixed about 5:1 with water in a spray bottle. Spray it on your clothes and maybe on a pretty hankie or just a towel & attach it to a fan with a pin if some sort. I use it outside while we enjoy the evening hours in summer or anytime the bugs (especially “mosquitoes and no-see-ums” are being their usual pests. We’ve seen very good results avoiding red bugs and ticks while out in nature. I spray it in my hair, too! Nice part is if you get it on your skin, unlike bug-sprays, you don’t need to worry about showering it off after a few hours.

This can be used for mosquito control. They don’t like it. Mom used this back in the 50s and 60s .
