I had to see my 28 year old husband dead in the hospital bed, in the morgue, then in a casket. All while holding our 6 week old son. Life is truly terrible sometimes and I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this grief. It will get easier to manage eventually, just hang in there. 💔❤️

I had to watch my mom lay unconscious for a week due to what we learned was an anoxic brain injury, & then watch her die on an operating table pre-organ donation...all while never being able to make amends. we hadn't talked for 3 years. it hurts so bad. let shit go before its too late. 😭

My kids’ father died suddenly 7/2024 and although we had not been together for 23 years when he died, it was such a weird feeling and seeing them hurting destroyed me!

I hate that so many have gone through this. But knowing I’m not alone brings comfort. We lost my son’s dad 2 months ago. We weren’t together, I moved on to a new partner with more kids. My son’s dad struggled with this and now that he’s gone I have so much guilt that me moving on hurt him so badly. I don’t know how I ever get over this.

My daughter’s dad died 6/2025- our divorce had just finalized a year before due to his excessive drinking, which is ultimately what killed him. The pain and guilt can be really consuming at times, so please remember to be kind to yourself. You’re not alone in this weird grief.
