To be fair, Walmart opening in America literally did disrupt our economy. They closed a lot of mom and pop shops in rural areas.

they really need to start charging for the plastic bags. that’s how you get people to stop using so much plastic, worked for aus & south africa it can work in the usa as well.

A lot of those Walmart used to be 24/7 before Covid. You could literally go shopping at midnight. Not really a flex but the convenience was there

Fun fact certain states don’t have plastic bags. My state only has paper bags and you have to pay $.10 a bag 🤣
