We weren’t in love, but we were in the beginning of something refreshing and gentle, I still remember how excited I was to be there with him. I’d been to this specific bar we’d gone to many times before, had appetizers and great drinks, and of course enjoyed some music but never had I connected over jazz alongside someone I enjoyed spending time with so much, as I did that night. It’s a memory I cherish and think about fondly. :p
