Thickened cream, tablespoon of garlic and this packet mix from Woolies is what my mum always used and it’s by far the best potato bake I’ve ever had! Adding a layer of cheese on top is an option as well.

I just do full cream, cooked bacon, cooked onion and garlic and herb salt in each layer. It’s basic but delish

With my potato bake I diced onion and spring onion fry it with bacon then add to cream, sour cream and French onion soup mix stir it than add to pre boiled sliced potatoes cover with cheese and bake til the cheese is golden and crispy

Girl!! Don’t add any kind of seasoning. Just cream, garlic, brown onion & then cheese on top. Add a few slices of sweet potato as well. Cook it for like an hour and a half and let it rest out of the oven for like 20 mins. French onion soup is salty af and gross
