I have a similar story. When I was a child, I saw A Nightmare on Elm Street, which traumatised me and gave me nightmares for years to come, but I became obsessed with this genre in all its forms. And yes, The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my favourite films. Almost every night I fall asleep watching a horror film, and tonight is one of those nights.

100% great take. For me its blinx the time sweeper. It made me want to become a game dev since i was like 4-6 years old. There is always a game that is somebody’s favorite!

See, my dad left my mom for his girlfriend. So I played the original Resi 3 by myself. I still dream of Nemesis chasing me sometimes. When he jumped through that window in the police station, I quit the game and it took me 7 more years until I managed to actually beat it. 😂

One of my earliest memories was watching my dad play re2 and seeing the licker crawl across the window, I still love resi to this day.
