As an audhd women we do this. We overshare and it’s not because we are false it’s because we’re wired differently. As neurodivergent people we tell people stories about us to show we relate and understand them. It’s not because we’re all about us it’s how we validate others

That’s referencing neurotypical people. I’m not neurotypical and have a tendency to gas people up or oversharing. But it’s not meant in any sort of manipulative way. It’s just basically masking or whatever else. And talking about ourselves is also a way some people try to relate to others cuz they don’t know how else to provide to the convo.
