'something something too expensive' because even though they have an infinite money glitch they still need to pinch pennies. the greed of these large corporations is immeasurable. generative ai, which is a large portion of the data centers, is theft and is pointless. all it does is make them endless money. ai should be used for only actual important stuff like protein folding. ai shouldn't be used to line the pockets of the greediest people on earth while we all melt our brains watching the slop they produce.

she is correct. I help build the cooling system for these data centers. but these centers still require a lot of power usage to run as a whole. data centers need to be in business districts, not in neighborhoods, unless you want to see the whole surrounding community's power rate go up.
