When I left through the back door of the vets, just after putting my girl to rest, I was heading to my car and someone else was parked next to me by chance and got to their car at the same time. Their dog pulled away ever so gently, coming up to me and placed its nose right against my thigh in a gentle touch where my girls head was resting before she crossed. I think that was her telling me she made it okay.
