@gilkthegreat: Why are my 5.3 LS Coil Packs Flashings? They are led flashing Coils from FiTech Fuel Injection #fyp #cartok #ls #lsswap #carsoftiktokcontest
fitech is garbage. unfortunately i have the 750 efi setup on my stroked 6.2 ls3. I already swapped the 102 throttle body for a holley. next bye bye efi. I have had multiple high end tuning shops tell me to tear it off and throw it away.

good idea, but factory gm coils still last longer.

That engine should start no problem with just one coil unplugged 😂😂

Too bad they won't show a weak coil?

Cylinder 2 not firing. 😁 Smart idea. All coil packs should be this way. These coils are probably not up to Oem standards. Maybe I’m wrong

Could we maybe get green lights instead of the blue? I’m doing all green in my truck and this would be a badass add

Mean honestly just seems like a gimmick. That’s what a check engine light is for. Let’s you know when you got a misfire. So spending more money that a light on a dash already does for you.

Goes to show you how bad fitech is that they have to put stuff in to help figure out why it doesn’t work on parts that almost never ever fail .

do they flash if the plug is fouled/problem with the wire going to the plug?

TazzLow :
You can get a false "dead" coil. those LED'S are likely 24V. For that coil to work, it's putting out 20,000V. Meaning the lights and actual coil work separately. So you could have a bad coil with a light still flashing or, a good coil with a failed light.

FiTech Go-Spark Ignition Coils i have 3 bad that still light up it is only to let you know the trigger/ pick-up is sending a signal to the coil pack to trigger the spark...
The Signal: The LED flashes when the coil receives the command to fire from the ECU/harness.
The Diagnostic: It confirms the wiring and ECU signal are reaching the coil.
The Catch: If the LED flashes but the engine still misfires, the internal coil windings or the spark plug wire could still be bad.
It tells you the "brain" is talking to the coil, but it doesn't strictly guarantee a spark jumped the gap at the plug.

Just because LED is flashing does not mean you’re getting good spark. Just buy a high voltage non-contact voltage detector.
