The idea of universal basic income is horrific. I’m serious about that. I can’t imagine. I’m just getting some basic amount of money that will take care of my basic needs. I can never grow, make more money, strive for a better life. It would be like a punishment. And imagine the idea that if you did something wrong, they could cut you off. The power the government would have over people with UBI would be dystopian.
