As a Hispanic person who lives in the central coast of California yes it is very racist and pro the current administration. This area is just rich white people and this is honestly sad to hear. I didn’t realize how bad the racism actually was. I mean sure I’ve gotten my fair share of racist comments and dirty looks but the Santa Maria Saturday’s is going too far.

I’m in Santa Maria and we all go to SLO on the weekends because we have ONE bar in SM and it is not safe. I went there once and I was harassed to the point I had to scream in a man’s face to get him to leave me alone. And the bartender was on the man’s side. Going to SLO or Santa Barbara is the only way to have fun on the weekends :(

I’m in Lompoc and never knew this, funny though my friend just suggested going to check out some bars in slo and I was saying it might be weird bc slo is such a college town and we are in our 30s, but maybe we’ll just go on Saturday 😂 but also I never considered SLO as overly liberal, maybe a bit more than Lompoc but I’ve always gotten racist conservative vibes from slo. I don’t know what the voting history shows just going off vibes.
