to all the men out there, we hear you loud and clearly. our intention was never to hurt you or to bring out a side of you that was unfamiliar territory. we fully hear your hurt, it is unfair to you when we shut you out and push you away and expect the chase because we know you want the same as well. someone to fight, someone to be there, someone to listen and understand you.we just want you to keep the promises you made in the beginning of the relationship. the ones that felt like a honeymoon, every time we argue with you we go back to the person you were when we first met, who was so excited to text, talk, call, hang out with. we don’t get satisfaction from hurting you, we don’t get relief we made you feel pain — in all honesty we feel your pain, we feel your ache tremendously, we see how badly you’re hurting and all we want to do is hold you and caress you and tell you everything is going to be okay. we want to love you but you can’t push and shut us away, ask us for space when we’re also hurting because space yes does help you gather thoughts but the comfort you find in the space allows for room for assumptions, allows for room to be filled with overthinking. we can shut down every feeling that may feel like doubt. we ask you talk to us, reassure us when we’re both hurting. we are reflections of how you treat us and vice versa. all we wanted was to hear “how can we work on this together and make it work?” we often get driven by the heightened emotions and who went through the far more worse pain, we become each others competitors and that’s where we lose sight in partnership. but in reality, we want to be with you while hurting, because you are our comfort, the person we run to when things feel like chaos. we want to hear you, we wanna hear “baby i’m hurting rn…” i understand it’s hard to use endearing terms when you’re hurting and we don’t do it back either, but we see your hurting and all we want to do is take that pain away because you are our baby. we value your mental health and the last thing we want to see you do is ache. our hearts yearn for our lovers in ten folds. all we want to do is just work on it together with you, be able to make things better.

Married 7 years, did everything for her. Was I perfect no, but I put in effort and took care of our family. I moved out last week, first week out she’s got someone over, introducing them to our kids, saying I love you and now they are trying to have a baby. While I sit in an empty quiet house trying to pick up the pieces.

Worst part is I’m not even mad. I understand. I try to be better and get better. I just wish I could be better with her. If she asked to try again tomorrow I would in a heartbeat. I miss her. I miss my best friend.
