Pro tip here when you get home if baby has a hard time sleeping look up nicu noises on YouTube and play that. They get used to the sound and can have a hard time adjusting to the quiet

one of the nurses at my nicu sent me a YouTube Playlist of nicu noises, if your baby is like mine he'll have a hard time falling asleep in a quiet house the first few days and it will help!

People often wonder why we aren’t running for all alarms…it is because the alarms are never ending and there are different levels of alarms. Trust me we RUN to the highest level alarms!

You will think you hear them for a little while once you’re home too. All the beeps and the sound of the hand sanitizer dispenser before someone walks in to the room. But then it’ll all fade away and it’ll just be the sound of your sweet baby sleeping on you and a lullaby. 🩷

think of it as good sounds, they are sounds you’d want to hear and not the opposite, like it’s communicating for your child, sending codes that he is doing well
