i’ve always noticed that hyperpigmentation around the eyes and or sunken eyes are common in middle eastern people and south Asians. obviously it’s genetic but I wonder where it originated and why. ik ppls appearances originate from the area where their ancestors are from and features are shaped to be helpful in for their environment so I wonder if that has something to do with it. Also I don’t mean to be rude at all just curious!

I'm not sure if you will see this comment but please ask your practitioner what microneedling device they are using. I have literally never in my life seen anyone do that directly on the skin over the eyes (esp w out eye protection) and it looks like the pen is catching. it also looks like she is using dr.pen which is a 100$ OTC device that anyone can buy, as opposed to a high quality microneedling device like dermapen or skin pen. I might totally be wrong but just ask her and ask to see the device bc if she says Dr. Pen do not get microneedling done from her again.
