Thank you for educating future parents. It’s not just the cost of purchasing the cat. It’s a big responsibility to care for an animal correctly. They just don’t eat table scraps. The cats need regular and possibly er veterinary care and medications. Also the monthly professional grooming sessions besides daily grooming at home. ❤️😻

I have one. Spend about 100 a month for food and treats. 30 on litter. 200 on yearly vet appointment check. 300 on incurrence yearly. Incurrence is genius if you don't have 2k for the vet when stuff come up. Saves me a lot of worrying.

Our expenses don’t include professional grooming as we brush cats at home ourselves 🤗 As cats get older, their health needs more attention and vet bills can be high, even after using insurance 🫣 Last years (2024, 2023) we spent around £350/month on two cats but 2025 was intense ❤️‍🩹 It doesn’t mean that next years will be the same, but you need to be prepared!
