I have Spina Bifida Occulta and been having some back pain radiating to the right thigh. Imaging showed bone spurs on L4-5 and my L5 is autofusing to my S1 due to the instability that the spina bifida is creating. Staying away from the OR as much as possible so physical therapy and injections are what I’m doing

my back pain came from a stomach pain medication I was prescribed to by a doc without physical/laboratory examination, I discontinued it but ever since I've had on and off back pains I'm just 22🥺 but it's life i guess

from what I know it's usually not the spine that hurts but the muscles supporting the spine that hurts. until you throw your back out and have to be stretched to pop your back back into place

I had disc replacement surgery so I have an implant in my back and whenever I look at my X-rays I could only imagine how it’ll look on the table like that 😄
