@savealicefromcancer: am just a baby and I am fighting cancer. I don't understand why my days are spent in the ICU. I don't understand the machines that breathe for me,the tubes in my tiny body,or the needles that hurt so much. All I know is that I am tired. And I am hurting. And I need help just to stay alive. Right now, a machine is supporting my life while I rest in my mama's hands. Her arms are my only comfort. Her heartbeat is the only thing that makes me feel safe. I can't tell you how scared I am. I can't tell you how much I want to grow up, to laugh, to play, to live. I can't speak at all. So my family is speaking for me. The medicine and care keeping me here is more than my family can afford alone. Without it, my little body can't keep fighting. Without it, I may be forced to leave the ICU. I didn't choose this fight. I just want a chance to live the life every baby deserves. I didn't choose cancer. Please don't scroll past my face. Please don't look away.
