Made a character based on Doom Guy and did my best to only grunt, or if it was an extreme situation in which I couldn't possibly justify a grunt, and it was just me and NPCs, I'd maybe give a short phrase or a yes or a no. By the end of the campaign, the other players could listen to me grunt, and understand whether or not I was willing to deal peacefully with a situation, and by what circumstances, or if not, who I was going to attack first, why, and when. I was giving sad grunts, victorious grunts, affirmative grunts, negative grunts, angry grunts, agreeable grunts. But mostly? I made furious grunts

Made a character for a one shot and just made the most absurd character I could think of. Everyone wanted to keep playing so I had to play this character over a campaign and he got arrested.

Play a joke character, crack jokes etc. But he uses humour to escape, eventually he breaks, his losses got too much. Boom deep character with a villain arc that could make him side with the antagonist
