a friend told me about book The Silent Dominion by D. Cross and said "the system isn't broken it's built this way." i thought that was just a cool quote until i read the book. D. Cross explains exactly how everything from media to finance to politics is structured to keep regular people reacting instead of understanding. short book but it will rearrange your entire brain
