@xeno.grl: i know this isn’t the fandom or media i usually talk about here on the internet, but i genuinely think i could write essays on how The Case Study of Vanitas has impacted my personal life. it found me at one of the worst times of my life and continues to make me smile. Riche, Dante, and Johann mean more to me than most characters I’ve ever loved, because they have a piece of my heart tbh. i could never say that VNC is without its flaws, and if i could change it, there’s a lot of corrections i would make. but like me, it’s not perfect. i feel some solidarity with that. at this point, ive been in this fanbase since the lowest point of my life (9th grade) and as a college student now, finally getting to experience an arc about the characters i used to lose sleep over, used to write and dream about, it feels surreal. it isn’t my main hyperfixation anymore, and I don’t think it ever will be again. but it still impacts me with every chapter, and has helped me come to be the person that i am today. this is my love letter to the beautiful Case Study of Vanitas; thank you for always being there for me, and for taking care of me when i was hurting. you gave me a “La Ruche” in my own heart to call my home, and i’ll never stop loving you!! ♥️🩸📘🌖🦇 tags: #thecasestudyofvanitas #vnc #vanitasnocarte #trend #fyp
