This is what government provided healthcare looks like… not saying the system we have is great, but free healthcare is generally worse

You have the same experience with other conditions, like endometriosis.

This is a sad but very common problem. Doctors are really dropping the ball and not diagnosing incorrectly.

This is the exact reason why my family left our previous GP Clinic. I got told I was giving myself anxiety about nothing and did I want to see a psychologist. 12 months later I'm dealing with a Chronic disease..... disgusting care. 🥺

I once had a GP tell me that he had no time to research or learn of new suggestions, the computer told him what to do... so thats what he did. I found a GP who listened, tried what i had suggested and it worked.

I had a random red lump on my leg and went to see my GP she literally just shrugged and said I don’t know, if it’s not itchy it’ll be alright. I’ve had even more red lumps appear since then. I’m going to see another dr for help.

the most important thing to say to all of them is that your the first doctor I see. DO NOT tell them you saw anyone else.

I would’ve went to a different doctor to get a second diagnosis and instead of dismissing what you knew was wrong in the first place

Sadly this happens way more than people think. It’s infuriating that they think you’re just wasting their time. Healthcare isn’t what it used to be. Mental health services are even worse!
