for the chevelle, the guy probably had all those parts ordered a long time ago for someone and they backed out and he just wanted to get rid of them due to how rare they are and saw it was some kid who wouldnt be able to afford it so he installed them and wrote it off as a loss to his business for a tax break. thats my guess

Bought a watch online. It was so cheap I was convinced it was a fake. Took it to a jeweler to have it authenticated. They did and appraised it. They made an offer. It was in fact very real. Someone on that website really messed up to the point I felt kind of bad honestly

Years ago I went to a yard sale with my mom and found a dog bed that looked like a wicker basket. Anyway, I asked the guy how much he wanted for it and he gave it to me for 7 bucks and threw in another dog bed for free. I paid him and as I was walking away I heard his wife yelling at him that the wicker dog bed cost her 80 bucks and couldn’t believe he sold it to me for 7 🤣

I got a $150 mouse (Razer Basilisk X Hyper speed) for $20 at a retail shop. this was when it was brand new and if anyone knows anything about gaming peripherals they're not cheap at all, I snagged that mouse so quick since I needed a new mouse anyway xD. so worth it

Not quite as grand but I once bought a brand new pair of Ugg boots in a charity shop (thrift shop for Americans) for £6. They came with the box and were 100% genuine. I actually felt bad so I donated £20 to the charity as extra.
