@at_taywani: Islam is NOT an Arab religion. That’s exactly why the Qur’an NEEDS to be in Arabic. The issue was never about which language it’s in. People would have found excuses regardless. Those who sincerely seek the truth will make the effort to learn. Those who don’t will always find another reason not to. Let’s make sure that we appreciate the remaining time left in this Ramadan to establish a closer relationship with the Qur’an.

Quran in arabic is like having a security layer. If the language was in English people would corrupt it left and right. The bible is a clear example of how they add or change verses easily and claim it has the same message.

As a native arabic speaker it's true we can understand Quran but that doesn't mean we don't put effort in recite Quran. We also go to Quranic school to learn Tajweed , Naho ( Arabic grammar) and to perfect pronunciation I mean everyone is put his/her effort in learning and I respect that
