The sad thing about watching romance anime is that, unintentionally, they make you dream of someone who may never arrive. They show you girls so special, so unique, that you begin to believe such people don't exist in real life... and the worst part is that, deep down, you know it's true. You watch those anime to feel a happiness you don't have, to live through others a story that doesn't belong to you. You become attached to the characters, you laugh with them, you suffer with them... but when it ends, you're left with that emptiness. Because you're not the protagonist of that beautiful story; you're just watching from afar what you've always wanted: to feel truly loved. And it hurts... it hurts because those emotions that the anime evokes only remind you how much you wish you could feel them with someone real. Loneliness will consume me every time I watch each beautiful episodes of these animes.
