I pay my half of the rent (625) and half the bills (70 elect, 75 council tax, 25 water, 15 smth internet), I only go to the office once a week, and the rest of the time I just do normal stuff? I don't drink, don't smoke...I just don't have reasons to spend much. If my fat behind spent less on takeaways I'd save even more but that's my problem

I make a six figure salary but I feel so poor. I have student loan debt, pay massive amounts in tax, NI, pension etc and I’m a single parent so also provide for my son. After rent and bills etc I have nothing left over.

Yeah but isn’t that everywhere in the west? In my paycheck I make 100k a year but after federal, state and fica, plus if you include your health insurance you get about 65-70k. It’s the same
