They will still grow! You just need to put a few extra in every hole. The germination rate gets lower over time. You can check by putting some in a damp paper towel for a few days. If half sprout, put twice as many in than recommended.

Some seeds go bad after a couple months of being opened.And then there are seeds that are good for years.It just depends what you do is you get your starter kit put a couple of the seeds or however, many in the starter kit and then see if they grow, I tell i've always done it, at least
