@sammygyauobuobi: People of God, Death entered the world through sin and has long stood as humanity’s final enemy, casting fear and sorrow across generations. Scripture makes it clear that the enemy often uses the fear of death to keep people in bondage. But God’s answer was decisive. Through the incarnation, Jesus Christ took on human flesh so that He could die — and by dying, break the power of death. As Hebrews 2:14–15 declares, He destroyed the one who held the power of death and freed those who were enslaved by the fear of dying. Death could not hold Him. God raised Him from the grave, proving that its authority had been permanently shattered. Christ’s victory was not for Himself alone, but for all who believe. For the believer, death is no longer a terror but a transition. We live anchored in hope — confident that those who die in Christ will rise again and receive glorified, imperishable bodies.
