@jamesproperty_: 🚨 WE’RE BUYING FURNITURE IN CHINA AND SHIPPING IT TO THE UK! 🚨 And we’re doing it to refurbish our new home in Yorkshire. 🏡 We packed our bags, hired a translator, and flew to Foshan, China, the furniture capital of the world 🌍. We’re purchasing beds, sofas, bathrooms, fireplaces, toilets, doors, and even the kitchen sink for our UK bungalow project. 🛋️🛁 China prices are significantly cheaper than the UK, no doubt about it. But, is it worth the shipping costs, taxes, and logistics? 🤔 We’re breaking it all down in today’s live Zoom webinar. 👉 Register NOW: jamesproperty.io/webinar Spoiler alert: The cost savings are HUGE! 💥 See you soon! I have mixed feelings about this. I love your ingenuity and understand cost is king and why not. It’s a shame the uk can’t produce this stuff at the same cost to keep the money and jobs in the uk. The technology is fantastic in some of the applications you showed, do you think the quality will withstand.

Love this. We ordered a bed from China but had to pay £1,000 for the government fees. Any advice on improving that please

The problem with that is warranty issues if something comes broken or defective at least if you get it from the uk you have protection and warranties.

It’s never worth it unless it’s a large volume and you plan to sell them to consumers! Single piece might be saving you around 30%

i mean in the uk you have to pay the 20% vat regardless. Also the craftsmanship on those furniture and accessories are insanely good from what i have been told. Definitely great value from money

For anyone interested, you don’t necessarily need to fly to Foshan.
We’re a China sourcing team based here. We help compare factories, do on-site quality checks, consolidate orders and handle UK shipping.
