@storymfg: If you’re new here, our buttons are not plastic. They’re made from corozo (aka vegetable ivory), carved from the tagua nut, a palm seed related to coconuts. We soak them in natural dye so they expand and absorb the colour deeply. As they dry, they shrink back down and lock it all inside. Red from madder, green from iron + myrobalan, blue from indigo. The tones go so deep and dark after soaking. So beautiful.
