@lila.perimenopaus.relief: Mine? The sadness. The kind that creeps in out of nowhere and sits heavy in your chest. Some days I feel like I’m grieving a version of myself I can’t get back. The mood swings, the tears, the loneliness it’s a lot. 💔 #Perimenopause #WomenOver40 #perimenopausesupport #womenshealth #menopause
As a husband of a wife going through this, I find it disgusting that the medical field is so uneducated in perimenopause etc.More needs to be done to educate everyone.

Husband here, all yo I can do is support by helping her in any way possible. Fan blower with remote so she doesn't have to get up or you to turn fan on when she gets hot flash, make sure she stay hydrated, rub her joints, get portable neck fan or neck cooler not freezing. Make sure she has healthy stuff to eat so it doesn't cause more hot flashes. wet rag soft to cool her down. Get her protein and hydrating drinks. Her muscles will sore from cramping so maybe some creatine if she's up to it. Yes she will over salt the food so don't complain just order or make something else. give lots of kisses and rubs for support. She is your Queen and EVERYTHING revolves around her and her comfort. Happy wife comfortable life. It sucks watching mine go through it. Especially when you eats something that affects her. But she is mine. I love her beyond words.

The absolute lack of enjoyment. Nothing excites me anymore. That ‘meh’ feeling. Not really depressed but everything feels flat. Except for the random rage now and then.

I’m 58 now. All symptoms gone. I never took HRT or other meds. Some horrific days I will say ( itch particularly 🥴) My late darling husband was an INCREDIBLE support 💔 It does pass, ladies. I feel perfect now ( odd aches and pains of getting older) In fact I have a new lease of life. I’m very busy with work. I have amazing friends for support. I know it’s not easy, but stay strong. It’s all part of the circle of life. You are NOT alone. WE ARE WOMEN!!! WE CAN GET THIS DONE. Love to you all 💞💞💞💞💞
