I was scrolling through TikTok this afternoon and saw a lady sewing a smoky dress with an industrial machine. The machine was so fast, and I just thought, maybe that’s why they can sell their dresses for 7k or 8k without stress. Imagine me with my manual machine. How will I sit for hours to sew one dress and still sell it for 8k? It doesn’t even make sense. Even buying an industrial machine is not small money. Do people think we just collect money for fabric and thread? They don’t really see the time, stress, and effort behind it.
