I think with season 2 of house of the dragon. I love the first 4 episodes. The last 4 episodes of season 2 are just a bit dull though. Also the protagonist’s, despite me loving them and siding with them, are boring, while the greens, while in the wrong, are leaps and bounds more interesting characters besides Daemon and Rheanys and Rhaenyra who either do nothing or die halfway through.

It's not A Game of Thrones tho. They're completely different entities and to be honest HotD isn't doing amazing either. 😅

I think this is exactly what it needs. A song of ice and fire is like a ballad and AKOTSK is like a local folk tale. HOTD is more like a fable with a warning.
